Dragging folder to another folder immediately opens destination folder. How do I stop that? Problem did not exist in version 102.15.1. When having to move multiple folders it is extremely annoying to have the destination folder open instantly every time.

(My destination folder has many subfolders so having it open without my permission causes me to lose my place and have to scroll to close the destination folder every time.

I found an archived question from last year and from it looks like, the situation has not been resolved. Autofill has not worked for a really long time now. It works fine on my PC but not at all on my Firefox Android app. Is this just something that will not come back? It's frustrating to say the least.

I've uninstalled + reinstalled Firefox English for Mac OS 15 THREE time. Each time there is an unknown language that I cannot fix in settings because I can't read the language. See screenshot.

Now that Cristopher Leidigh's excellent add-on "Columns Wizard" no longer works in TB 115, how do I display the CC column in the Inbox? How is it possible that this crucially important column is still missing from the column display options?? Thank you.

USING: Mac Sequoia 15.0 and Firefox 13.01

This started when I updated to OS15.0. I usually keep many Firefox windows open and park them on the dock when I'm not using them...they have always been visible on my dock. After opening Firefox, I see all the windows load, then disappear into the Firefox app on my dock. I can't find or retrieve them, so I don't know where they are. Weird and frustrating! Any suggestions??

I am currently trying out Thunderbird 128.2.3esr (64-bit) on windows 10 home version 22H2. I have been using Mailbird. I exported my address books from mailbird to .vcf format with the "settings" "Selected Groups" "Export contacts to vCard". I have viewed the .vcf files in Textpad and all seem correct. When I try to "Address Book" "Import" "vCard File" the import completes successfully. But when I look at the list of contacts only several show names. The rest are blank and when I click on the blank contacts in the list the right hand pane is also empty of values. I tried multiple times with different .vcf files with the same result. So I broke the .vcf files apart thinking that it could only handle so many at a time. Nope! some of the .vcf files import. Most import and create a blank contact. Each of the vCard files has a possibly different set of fields and I can not see a pattern in the ones that are accepted compared to the ones that are not. Help please. p.s. I have the plain vanilla Thunderbird with no extensions.

How to make links/search/suggestions opened in new tab (middle click) from the URL/Search bar to open in background and not switch immediately.

I already toggled the following settings to "true" - browser.search.context.loadInBackground - browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground - browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground - browser.tabs.loadInBackground

Background new tabs only works for links in the page & bookmark bar. I would like to know how to make it work if links are opened in new tab from the URL/search bar.

When I try to log-in on a website using google it tries to open a pop-up windows but it instantly gets closed. I have disabled all my adblockers and the pop-up blocking in the settings. When i try to do it the console says "Failed to open popup window on url: (the url) Maybe blocked by the browser?"

I have a closed Ubuntu installation I use to clone and quickly setup a VM. The closed system uses a proxy with restricted access to the internet, as such I would like to give it systemwide settings that will effect new and existing users.

I have attempted to use /etc/firefox/syspref.js, and apturl.js in /etc/firefox/pref/apturl.js. I have setting in EnvVars for HTTPS_PROXY and HTTP_PROXY pointing at the proxy http://proxy:8080. It seems by default firefox does not look at that.

Secondly I wanted to turn off the site warnings for intranet sites using the following options: pref("security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled,false") pref("security.certerrors.permanentOverride,false") pref("network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist,false") pref("security.enterprise_roots.enabled,true")

Seeing as nothing I try seems to be working, and the potentials solutions were for older versions, is there a way I can do this?

In thunderbird/calendar, when I select import, and get the import tool and select a file to upload, I get a list of candidate events, all are initially selected.

There's a search field and two buttons on that row, select all, deselect all.

Depressing "deselect all" deselects only the last item. Adding a search in the search field doesn't change that.

I am using MX-Linux (mx-23). When I used to click on a link in an email, I was taken to Firefox where the link was opened in a tab for viewing. Now, I have to manually switch to Firefox using CTRL-F2 (F2 is location of the workspace where I have Firefox).

Look, I love the pocket topics that show up for me to read, and I like your browser. But, for the love of all that is decent, how can I stop receiving search results and topics to read in new browser tabs that require me to spread my information to yet another database, or pay straight up to access.

Let me cut to the chase. I will not ever, ever, pay or register for any of these sites. So whatever income is generated by depending on me to do so will never, ever, come your way. How can I stop this waste of my time and productivity and further degradation of my privacy?

I am having problems setting up an email account in TB. I already have ONE gmail account setup and it's currently sending/receiving fine. However, when attempting to setup my 2nd acct, I'm getting: 400. That’s an error. The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

I can't for the life of me figure this out despite comparing both accounts' SERVER SETTINGS repeatedly.

1) When I put firefox on snap layout (half and half), the tab bar seems too small. Is there a way to lengthen it? 2) Is there a way to hide tab bar and url bar, excluding fullscreen mode? Thank you.

Clicking on a toolbar shortcut, each selection overwrite the existing open tab instead of opening a separate tab. For Example, I opened Facebook and then LIRR, the image below only shows the LIRR tab. The same thing happens in Chrome.

(I was in Customize Toolbar earlier but didn't touch the shortcut tabs and they all still display. If I open a shortcut from my desktop, they open in separate tabs just not from custom toolbar). Images below displays my current settings in what I thought may help.

I unchecked FF tab settings, Rechecked FF Tab Settings, went to Task Manager and ended FF task, Restarted multiple times, checked for FF updates, ran Malwarebytes Antivirus and Windows Defender, nothing seemed to fix.

Help please, not a super technical person. :P

The Firefox Icon has somehow been replaced by a white rectangle containing a smaller blue rectangle inside of it. See screenshots showing the shortcut on my desktop as well as in the task bar. What happened and how do I fix this? I have spent hours multiple days trying to find answers on the web and on my machine. Please help. Thank you.
