# Kitsune ![Status Sustain](https://img.shields.io/badge/Status-Sustain-green) Kitsune is the platform that powers [SuMo (support.mozilla.org)](https://support.mozilla.org) ## Usage It is a [Django](http://www.djangoproject.com/) application. There is [documentation](https://mozilla.github.io/kitsune/) online. ## Releasing a new version - Create a [signed tag](https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Git-Tools-Signing-Your-Work) for the new version. We are using [semantic versioning](https://semver.org/). Given a version number MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, increment the: MAJOR version when you make incompatible API changes MINOR version when you add functionality in a backward compatible manner PATCH version when you make backward compatible bug fixes Example: `git tag -s 1.0.1 -m "Bump version: 1.0.0 to 1.0.1` - Draft a new release in GitHub for the new tag.
